Hey again, and here comes my planning and first blocking pass for my second assignment.

This time I wanted to go with something more cartoony. Something with more dynamic and faster movements then the previous one.

Term 3, Advanced Body Mechanics

Hello there. First of all sorry for being away for so long.

The new year did not start as it should be, I had a little accident and wasn`t able to work in a proper way.

By that I neglect my blog and so many other things. But anyway, I am back now.

My new term at AM already started a few weeks ago. My new Mentor is Mike Gasaway. A great guy with a fantastic portfolio and a lot of animation and directing experience.

Week 09…blocking plus

Hey there, as always busy, busy, busy times.

So here is my blocking plus shot. Still a lot of things to fix. but here we go:

Final dance…

And here comes the hopefully final dance version.

I added the feedback that I got from my mentor concerning the animation.

The lighting and rendering isn`t yet finished but pretty much transfers the idea of a sidewalk near midnight.

Week 08 or blocking the shot…

Hey my friends:-)

Very busy weekend. But I managed to finish my blocking for this weeks assignment just in time.

So, here we go with the “king of thiefs on the roof”. Later in the final version it will be a moonlight scenery.

I choose that general Maya daylight setting to make it easier to see the animation in a proper quality.

Feel free to leave comments, thoughts, feedback or just a quick “hi”. Everything is welcome, except to throw stones…lol
